Traditional approaches and techniques are biased towards fast-moving and best-selling products. A new or infrequently bought product will generally not be recommended by regular recommendation engines.
We’re focusing on the product’s DNA instead of the product itself and recommend new and infrequent products that more accurately reflect a customer’s unique tastes and are more likely to lead to a sale.
In the background we’re mapping each product’s Attributes with each of the customer’s Interests and hyper-personalization is about calculating a matching score between the customer’s DNA with the product’s DNA.
